LULAC, UnidosUS Action Fund, Mi Familia Vota and Latino Victory are funding field organizing, voter registration, trusted messengers, voter protection and digital tools to reach more than 5 million Latino voters, one of the largest coordinated Latino voter engagement efforts of the 2026 cycle
WASHINGTON —LULAC, UnidosUS Action Fund, Mi Familia Vota and Latino Victory, the four organizations behind the Vamos a Votar coalition, today announced that they have invested $22.1 million to register, inform and mobilize Latino voters ahead of the Nov. 3 midterm elections, one of the largest coordinated Latino voter engagement efforts in the country this cycle.
The coalition also launched a new set of bilingual tools and resources to help voters move from registration to participation. They include VamosAVotar.org, a digital hub where voters can verify their registration, review their state’s deadlines and voting requirements, make a plan to vote, learn their rights at the polls and find opportunities to get involved; a new online incident reporting tool backed by BRIDGE, LULAC’s largest voter protection program ever; and Nubi, Mi Familia’s AI-powered civic participation coach.
The investment anchors a broader outreach plan that runs through 2028: directly contacting more than 5 million Latino voters and increasing Latino voter participation. The coalition’s work will reach Latino communities in more than 10 states and 17 congressional districts, with significant investments in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, Pennsylvania and Texas.
“Latino voters will decide this election. Twenty-two million dollars is an investment that will seed future work for the coalition,” said Juan Proaño, chief executive officer of LULAC. “Seventeen million eligible Latino voters are not registered to vote because for too long no one invested in reaching them. We are changing that. In a challenging fundraising cycle, four organizations came together to build something transformative for the Latino community, and we succeeded.”
“This strategic investment is already transforming and strengthening the Latino electorate by helping to register, inform, mobilize and protect Latino voters this midterm election, while planting the seeds for 2028 and beyond,” said Katharine Pichardo, president and CEO of Latino Victory. “As the second-largest voting bloc in the nation, Latino voters have the power to decide elections at all government levels and increase Latino representation by electing Latino candidates. Our power is immense, but we must harness it to ensure the headlines after Election Day announce a high voter turnout.”
“At a time when rising costs are straining working families, it is critical that we provide the resources, trusted information and voter protections that demystify the voting process and ensure every eligible voter can make their voice heard,” said Rafael Collazo, executive director of UnidosUS Action Fund. “Regardless of the political rhetoric, Latinos remain the backbone of essential industries and a driving force in our nation’s economy. Our investment reflects a shared commitment to strengthening civic participation and ensuring the communities that contribute so much to this country's prosperity have a meaningful voice in shaping its future.”
“Latino political power is built on the ground—one door knocked, one conversation, and one voter at a time,” said Hector Sanchez Barba, president and CEO of Mi Familia Vota. “This historic $22.1 million investment will strengthen grassroots organizing, expand voter protection, and help us reach millions of Latino voters. By combining trusted community organizing with innovative tools like Nubi, Mi Familia’s civic engagement coach, we are breaking down barriers to participation and building lasting Latino political power beyond Election Day.”
The investment comes at a consequential moment. In competitive races across the country, from battleground congressional districts to close statewide contests, Latino voters will decide the outcome of these elections. In states like Arizona, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Texas, the margin of victory will rest on Latino voter turnout, and this coalition is making sure they have the information and support they need to cast their ballots.
Vamos a Votar is designed to address that participation gap through sustained engagement rather than a single Election Day push. Coalition organizations are coordinating field operations and voter education, investing in registration and direct outreach, elevating trusted community voices, providing voter-protection resources, and using digital tools to help voters move from registration to participation.
The coalition is also using new technology to reach Latino voters. Nubi, Mi Familia’s bilingual AI-powered civic participation coach, launched on Oct. 1 and is designed to help people register to vote and access trusted, easy-to-understand information about voting, citizenship and Know Your Rights.
The digital hub extends that work by putting the coalition’s voter information, planning and protection resources in one place.

New incident reporting tools. Voters can now report a problem casting a ballot, or a broader election concern in their community, for themselves or on someone else’s behalf, online at vamosavotar.org/report. The form takes about five minutes, in English or Spanish.
