Stefanie De Leon Tzic was born in Guatemala and raised in Los Angeles. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a Master’s in Specialized Journalism, where she emphasized on human rights issues. Prior to that, she spent two years working as a producer at NPR-member station, Southern California Public Radio. It was there that Stefanie discovered her passion for storytelling and all-things-digital.
In her spare time, she likes to collect and produce audio stories about diverse communities in LA. She also enjoys walking (dragging) her 17-year-old dachshund, traveling, and watching TV shows about dystopian alternate realities.
