Karina Martínez was raised in San Diego, CA by an extraordinary, community-oriented mother. Karina graduated magna cum laude from UCLA with a degree in International Development Studies, and also completed a Master of Public Health program at San Diego State University (earning cum laude honors).
Karina has operated under the mantra, “Lo que más trabajo cuesta, más dulce se muestra,” and strongly believes that the work being accomplished through Mi Familia Vota will yield massive results in the fields of worker’s rights, healthcare, education, environmental protection, immigration, and voting rights. She looks forward to seeing exponential increases in voting by familias around the country.
During her free time, she enjoys being outdoors hiking, beach biking, running, or playing tennis, as well as studying liberation philosophies of early American leaders like Benito Juárez. You can reach her at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
