Angel Quintero is the Regional Coordinator for Riverside, CA. She grew up in the Inland Empire area and graduated from UC Riverside in 2016 with a degree in Global Studies. As a global citizen with a desire for social justice, Angel has dedicated her time to organizing with the Inland Congregations United for Change (ICUC) as well as UCR’s Undocumented Student Programs Study Abroad department.
Angel also founded a chapter of Catholic Relief Services (CRS) in the region which boasted the largest team of ambassadors in Southern California. The focus of her chapter,and CRS at large, is global solidarity through raising awareness about global issues that include the Syrian refugee crisis and crime in El Salvador.
On her Free time, Angel enjoys to swim competitively, take trips to explore nature, and participate in different ethnic events. She, even lived in Vietnam for a month to fulfill ethnographic curriculum. Currently, she continues to build and develop leaders with MFV.
