Voter Engagement Canvasser Job Description 

Location: Denver, Colorado

The Organization

Mi Familia Vota Education Fund, is a National 501 (C) 3 not for profit organization established in 2002, proposes to implement and coordinate a 2018 Latino voter registration, voter education, and voter mobilization project in Colorado.

Description:

Responsible for going to targeted doors with the goal of encouraging Hispanics to register to vote, participate in the 2018 elections and increase engagement in the Latino community. You will be expected to build a relationship with the voters that you will be speaking with. Requirements include legible penmanship, able to communicate with English and Spanish speaking voters and complying with the required reporting process to be submitted to their respective Team Leaders. Compensation is $15/hour for a total of 25-32 hours per week.

Qualifications

Current Registered Voter / Eligible to Register to Vote

Bilingual – Conversational in both English and Spanish

Project Schedule for Canvassing

March 19 – August 24

Tentative Schedule – 25 – 32 Hours Per Week

Monday – Friday: 8:00 am– 3:00 pm

Saturday: Some special events (not all Saturdays)    

Payroll Cycle

Bi-Weekly – Sunday – Saturday

Payday – Friday
