Supreme Court’s Abortion Ruling Is A Call To Continue Organizing For Reproductive Rights


WASHINGTON D.C. – In response to the Supreme Court’s ruling ending the Constitutional right to an abortion, Héctor Sánchez Barba, Chair of Planned Parenthood Global and Executive Director of Mi Familia Vota, released the following statement:

“The Latino community stands firmly against any effort to limit women’s reproductive rights. Today’s politically motivated, wrong ruling from the Supreme Court is a call to action for our community. 

Mi Familia Vota is an organization that is committed to building political power to fight for the priorities of our community. We know that in moments like these, we must take a moment to acknowledge this tremendous loss and the urgent need to keep organizing. 

Elections matter; we must keep fighting for reproductive rights, abortion access, and women’s rights.”
