Mi Familia Vota Announces Bilingual Latino-led Digital Voter Campaign

Uniting a diversity of community trailblazers, the USA Tu Poder campaign aims to embolden Latinos to use their voting power

WASHINGTON, DC —  Mi Familia Vota has partnered with Latino leaders from diverse backgrounds to launch USA Tu Poder, a campaign designed to galvanize Latinos to own their Americanness and to unite in the electoral process by voting to steer the direction of this country toward better representation.

The campaign is headed by renowned broadcast journalist, Maria Elena Salinas, with actress and activist, Diane Guerrero, heading the “Show Up” segment of this campaign that targets millennials. The pair are expected to reach diverse groups of Latinos, crossing generations and highlighting the role of female Latina leadership in mobilizing voters.

A press conference will be held on Tuesday, September 11 from 10am to 11am at the National Press Club in the Zenger room. Latino leaders will discuss the potential impact of the USA Tu Poder campaign as it will target Latinos through Spanish media as well as by introducing campaign content through the tech and social media platforms, from Instagram to Spotify, that Latinos most use.

Media are encouraged to attend and should RSVP to Karina Martinez at karinam@mifamiliavota.org or 858/752-1262 or RSVP directly here.
