California Governor Newsom Includes Undocumented Seniors/Elders In Proposed Budget

Fresno, California – California Governor Newsom includes undocumented seniors/elders in the $222.2 billion state proposed budget which includes an expansion of full-scope Medi-Cal.

Samuel Molina, California state director for Mi Familia Vota issued the following statement:

“Governor Newsom shows us once again that he is willing to support and recognize the contributions of our immigrants in California. As President Trump continues to attack us, California moves forward, providing healthcare, tuition assistance and support for immigrant services. Undocumented individuals pay taxes too and this is a benefit that is long overdue.”
