The Truth: Michael Whatley isn't standing up for us. He’s a total rubber stamp for Trump, MAGA insiders, and billionaire corporations.

  • Sky-High Prices? He ignores our familias struggling with the cost of groceries and gas.
  • Out-of-Control ICE? He opposes basic oversight and accountability.
  • Our Community? Left behind and facing constant harassment while he takes orders from corporate donors.

Y nuestra comunidad merece mucho mejor.

ENDORSEMENT ALERT

Learn About the Candidates Who do Care
Roy Cooper for U.S. Senate and  Associate Justice Anita Earls

Mi Familia Vota is announcing its endorsement of Roy Cooper for U.S. Senate, who is running so that the biggest corporations and the ultra rich can’t continue to grab unimaginable wealth at your expense. At the state level, Mi Familia Vota endorses Associate Justice Anita Earls for her reelection to the North Carolina Supreme Court based on her record of breaking down the systemic, discriminatory barriers that disenfranchise historically underrepresented and immigrant populations.

Por lo Nuestro is about taking our power back. Our families deserve protection, respect, and leaders who will actually fight for us

See For Yourself

Why Are Prices Sky-High for Working Families?
Are you wondering why everyday life keeps getting more expensive?

From el mandado and la carne asada to healthcare and gas prices, our households are getting hit hard. The reason? MAGA politicians in the Senate giving a pass to extreme corporate agendas:

  • Taxes: Raising costs for the working class while giving tax breaks to billionaires.
  • Healthcare: Threatening vital programs while luxury projects get funded. More than 10 million Americans are losing health care coverage because of Donald Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill, which slashed the social safety net to pay for ICE detention and to give tax breaks to billionaires – and Whatley supported it. Heck, he helped elect Donald Trump as RNC Chair in 2024 on that agenda.
  • Our Economy: Selling out working people and local farmers to boost corporate profits. Americans are being hit with the sharpest increase in grocery prices in 50 years. Now, grocery prices are expected to rise another 2.7% across the country this year. Our families are having to buy less at grocery stores than they did just a year ago.

Roy Cooper supports reversing healthcare cuts, expanding affordable housing, limiting corporate home purchases, modernizing the energy grid, and opposing tariffs he says are hurting the economy.

Anita Earls opposes utility rate increases and taken positions in cases involving healthcare, consumer protections, corporate accountability, and North Carolina’s constitutional obligations to public education.

Why is ICE operating with zero accountability?

Our neighborhoods are being disrupted. They’re harassing our abuelas, separating families, and spreading fear across our communities. Instead of demanding oversight, MAGA politicians are throwing ICE even more money with zero rules.

  • Michael Whatley wants to give ICE a blank check without accountability. Michael Whatley was the RNC Chair during Trump’s divisive 2024 campaign, run on an anti-immigration message.

Nuestra comunidad merece protección, respeto y dignidad.

Roy Cooper has opposed expanded local cooperation with ICE, vetoed legislation requiring sheriffs to comply with certain ICE detainer requests, and spoken out against immigration enforcement actions he says unfairly target Latino and immigrant communities.

Anita Earls’ civil rights record includes work to protect voting access and challenge discrimination affecting immigrant families and other historically underrepresented communities.

Michael Whatley isn't running for Senate to protect you or lower your utility bills—he’s running to protect the profits of massive energy corporations keeping those prices high.

Michael Whatley has already shown how disastrous that is, and he is running for Senate in North Carolina to bring us more of the same. A él no le interesa el bienestar de Carolina del Norte. We don't have to accept politicians who put party bosses and corporate money ahead of our families. We deserve leaders who actually fight for us.

Roy Cooper and Anita Earls will support working people, not corporations and the rich.

Nuestra comunidad merece mejor.
